Have your QR code ready
Open the email with your easysimy QR code on a second device (laptop/tablet) or as a printout – your iPhone should scan the code, not display it itself.
Settings → Mobile Data
Go to Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM and scan the QR code with the camera.
Confirm the eSIM
Tap “Continue”, give the eSIM a name (e.g. “Travel”) and select it as the line for mobile data.
Enable data roaming
Tap your new eSIM line and switch on Data Roaming. Without this step you stay offline!
Have your QR code ready
Open the email with your easysimy QR code on a second device – your phone scans the code, so it can't display it itself.
Add the eSIM
Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM (Samsung) or Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → + (Pixel & others) and scan the QR code.
Enable for mobile data
Select the new eSIM and set it as preferred for mobile data.
Enable data roaming
Tap the eSIM line and switch on Data roaming. Without this step you stay offline!
❓ Quick questions
My phone shows "No service" after installation – is that an error?
No, that's normal as long as you're not yet at your destination. The eSIM connects automatically as soon as you land and switch off flight mode.
Can I keep my regular SIM alongside it?
Yes. Keep your home SIM active for calls & SMS and use the easysimy eSIM only for mobile data – that way you avoid roaming costs and stay reachable.
Is my phone eSIM-compatible?
Most iPhones from the XR/XS onwards and many Android models from 2019 support eSIM. Check under Settings → Mobile Data (iPhone) or Connections → SIM manager (Android) whether the option "Add eSIM" is shown.
